March 2024 Volunteer Opportunity

Join the Dallas ACFE chapter as we give back to the Dallas community by serving with TangoCharities in Feed the City - Lakewood.

Volunteers are encouraged to wear orange, as it is the color that represents Hunger Awareness. Please also wear closed-toed shoes and tie your hair back.

Logistics:

1. Before you come to the event, head over to the store and pick up some products. Aim to bring supplies for 25-30 sandwiches. The more product that is brought by volunteers, the more meals we make.

• Deli meat (turkey, chicken, or ham; no deli counter meat); 3 - 16oz packages
• Sliced pre-packaged cheese; 1 - 24 count pack
• Sliced wheat/white bread; 2 - 20oz loaves
• Yellow mustard (no spicy mustard or mayo); 1 - 14oz squeeze bottle
• Halos, Cuties; or Tangerines; 25-30
• Large bags of chips (not individual bags); 2-3 bags
• Ziploc sandwich bags (with zippers, not fold-over); box of 25 (or more)

2. Wear orange (optional, as the color orange represents Hunger Awareness) or your Dallas ACFE t-shirt. Please also wear closed-toed shoes and tie your hair back.

3. Head over to White Rock Alehouse & Brewery, and plan to arrive between 8:15-8:30am. All ages are welcome (so feel free to bring your kids!) but please supervise those under 18.
