Topic: What Does Law Enforcement Need?
Objectives:

Synopsis: Accountants and fraud examiners that work outside of law enforcement often have very important roles in securing successful criminal prosecutions.  This session will provide information for non-law enforcement persons who are involved with the discovery or initial investigation of economic crimes to help gain the attention of law enforcement and prosecutors.  The goal is to better ensure that all information that may be used as evidence is recognized and preserved and that proper attention from authorities is gained.

 Learning objectives:          
1. List the types of information and evidence that should be preserved for law enforcement.
2. Describe methods for documenting e;ements of complicated offenses.
3. List reasons why a suspect should be interviewed.
4. List reasons why a suspect should not be interviewed.
5. Describe specific "deliverables" for law enforcement.
    Prerequisites: No prerequisites are required.
