How many times have you heard this while watching daytime TV from attorneys? Some unscrupulous persons have decided to help this scenario along by staging trucking accidents. A massive staged accident trucking ring was recently discovered in Louisiana and is the subject of an extensive federal fraud being investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation\, Louisiana State Police\, National Crime Insurance Bureau\, and private insurance companies and attorneys. Involved participants include "cappers" and "runners\," law enforcement\, medical providers\, and attorneys. Dozens have been indicted by the US Attorney's office and the investigation is ongoing.
